In order to be a successful model, a lift truck needs to be powerful enough to last in all working conditions for many hours of use. It must be able to move cargo quickly and efficiently as well. The equipment should be both ergonomically correct and comfortable for the operator as well.
The Yale powertrain is rugged and reliable. It has to be powerful enough to constantly provide amazing durability through its computer-managed transmission and engine. It offers state-of-the-art clutch packs along with strong gears and really tough shafts. The drive, steer axle, engine and transmission are all isolated so as to decrease noise and vibration inside the compartment of the operator.
Mazda and GM LP & Gas Engines:
The GM Gas and Mazda LP Engines are made from cast-iron blocks for long life. These kinds of equipment provide an electronically-controlled closed loop fuel system which needs minimum repair or adjustment. These engines also have hardened exhaust valve seats that reduce wear.
Yanmar and Cummins Diesel Engines:
Both the Yanmar and Cummins diesel engine provide a higher compression ratio leading to enhanced torque. Amazing fuel consumption is provided by efficient fuel systems.
Regular Electronic Powershift Transmission:
The regular Electronic Powershift Transmission features gears that are 15% stronger and shafts that maximize resistance to rough driving. The durable clutch packs provide 3 times the life of previous packs. Lastly, there is electronic inching available that automatically adjusts in order to lessen maintenance needs by compensating for brake wear.
Techtronix Transmission:
The Techtronix Transmission utilizes computer-controlled power reversal to eliminate shock loading, increase durability and extend the life of the tires. What's more, the auto deceleration feature reduces break pedal usage and break wear.
Drive Axle:
Designed for added durability, the drive axle features its full floating, brake drum mounting axle shaft and the pinion gears and strong ring. This particular part also has optional oil cooled wet disc brakes which are basically maintenance free and completely sealed against contamination.
Steer Axle:
In order to protect the steer cylinder for debris and damage, the Steer Axle features a "sandwich" design. This Steer Axle also has a fixed-length tie rods that can add extra stability and durability. The tapered roller bearings help to resist side-to-side and front to back forces. Furthermore, cast ductile iron axle reduces wear and increases toughness.
As part of Yale's regular packages, they have included numerous safety features and ergonomic features. These types of equipment will handle tough environments, while keeping the operator both comfortable and safe for the length of their shift.
