Designed for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks that are suitable for a range of uses. The ability to engineer and manufacture models for better safety comes from the new technology which is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
Yale likes to integrate new technology which is available into their newest designs. Several of the new technologies which are available are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company performs numerous controlled field tests and reliability development in order to ensure their products are very safe.
So as to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed a lot of new features, that have been incorporated on a lot of models like:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The ergonomics in the operator compartment as well as the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as exhaustion. These extra comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Before beginning their shift, the operator can make certain he or she is as comfortable as she or he could be.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
