Potain Cranes New Mexico

Potain Cranes New Mexico

During 1928 in La Clayette, France, the company Potain was established. Ever since then, Potain has been the world leader in tower crane production. They are responsible for over 100,000 cranes installed and sold around the globe. At present, the company manufacturers over 60 models from different manufacturing plants in France, China, Italy, Portugal and Germany. The business represents many different product ranges used for various applications. These equipments are sold through a global Manitowoc dealer network.

The Potain family makes 3 different tower crane families. The self-erecting cranes are the smallest ones in the Potain range. These cranes range from 1 ton to 7.98 ton capacity. The next size up is the top-slewing cranes that are higher and larger. These cranes vary from 7.98 to 64 tons. Moreover, these are the largest custom-designed special application cranes. These units offer a reach capacity of one hundred sixty tons.

The company's top innovations include LLC series of hoists, the Dialog control system and the Vision Cab. The growing reputation of the company has expanded their appeal with various models. Potain cranes are normally found on conventional construction sites, bridge building projects, power stations, ship-building projects and shipbuilding yards.

Two of Manitowac's largest facilities are based in the US. Their manufacturing facility is based in Wisconsin. In this state, both crawler cranes and the tower crane components are made within Pennsylvania in the Shady Grove plant. Here both mobile cranes and boom trucks are built. Regional offices are located within Mexico and in Brazil. Furthermore, the extensive dealer network found all over New Mexico and the United States offers support and coverage unrivalled by any other crane producer.

Manitowoc has dominated the lifting market in North America for more than 50 years. They have built their solid reputation with a combination of outstanding service and support and quality products. The popular names of Manitowoc, Grove and national Crane have been top members of their market sectors within New Mexico, Latin and South America and USA.
