The lift truck application all over the world has grown in insurmountable measures in regards to the manufacturing and warehousing businesses. A lift truck is a powered industrial truck used for lifting and transporting items. In the past decades, the machinery has significantly grown and the designs have changed so there are numerous modern designs and a variety of trucks to suit each particular application. Loads are capable of lifting and reaching to greater heights than ever before.

The forklift is offered in a wide array of power types like gas powered, diesel, electric, diesel and LP or liquid propane units. The load capacities of these models vary greatly since there are numerous manufacturers designing and building them. For instance, several models are able to reach a height of over 3000 mm or more than 10,000 kg.

The forklift truck features comprise mast and axles, an overhead guard, the counterweight, and the truck frame to which the base of the power source and all aforementioned items are attached. On the back side there is a counterweight attached to the truck. This specific counterweight counterbalances the load which is being carried in order to keep the equipment stable.

The operator sits in a cab and utilizes the controls to dictate the machine's movements. The overhead is another feature, that is a metal roof in order to protect the operator from falling things. Hydraulic tilt cylinders mounted to the mast and the frame. These tilts pivot the mast in order to engage the load. The mast is a vertical assembly which lowers and raises the cargo with the interlocking rails to provide lateral stability.

There are numerous businesses and warehouses in the manufacturing fields which use lift trucks for transportation and lifting every day. Nowadays, there are a lot of different new and second-hand forklifts available in the market at competitive prices.
