Skyjack Boom Lifts New Mexico

Skyjack Boom Lifts New Mexico

Starting in the year 1986, Skyjack began manufacturing scissor lift platforms. They continued this mass production through the 1990s and became a global leader within the aerial lift industry sector. Eventually, Skyjack grew to over 30% market share overall. Even nowadays, the company maintains their dominance as an important player who has quickly adapted to the changing face of the industrial equipment industry.

Some of the key factors which Skyjack has built a solid reputation on include their commitment to reliability and quality. They are recognized all over the world as being the maker of the best scissor lifts in the globe. The Skyjack product line is manufactured and sold all around the globe.

Skyjack was obtained by Linamar Corporation, LNR on the TSX during August the year 2002. Linamar is known for being a leading manufacturer of assemblies, modules and precision-machined components. Linamar's solid balance sheet provides Skyjack with increased strength and long-term stability in general. Skyjack presently has production plants within the United States, New Mexico and Hungary with support offices in Asia and Europe.

The company has many self-propelled scissor lifts in its lineup, with models which can work at heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader within the business by providing equipment features which combined serviceability, durability, service and quality, making Skyjack scissor lifts known throughout the world for product reliability. The company's current Boom lift model lineup consists of telescopic booms. These models provide telescopic booms which feature work heights varying from 45 to 71 feet. The company plans further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

The acquisition of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business in August the year 2007 complements the products acquired in the purchase of Carelift Equipment. These acquisitions have improved Skyjack's Telehandler product offering in both the Zoom Boom series and the VR series telehandlers. These acquisitions provide the company an opportunity to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way within the business, providing reliable lift solutions.
