The S-boom telescopic booms by Genie have been equipped with a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other kinds of aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access confined places during industrial and construction applications. They are also recognized for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This model could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were previously inaccessible by standard jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This specific feature enables over and up reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System made by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform has to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to ascend and descend, increasing effectiveness and production.
