Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. A variety of industries, from the natural stone and concrete industries, to the steel industry, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all relying upon and working with heavy duty machines. The power and efficiency offered by the models keep operational costs low and provide the best conditions for efficient work. These machines can excel in the most demanding environments.
Providing the needed power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with the 6 cylinder engines. These models are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It can climb on steep slopes and rough terrain and also offers great acceleration.
To be able to choose 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator can utilize a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on tough terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, simply by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment comfortable to operate and simple to maneuver.
The well-ventilated cabin provides a spacious and comfortable working place. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps make certain that the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to give a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on giving the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai equipment are supposed to have.
