Hyster prides itselves on providing excellent material handling machines that are reliable and dependable machines that carry low long term costs of ownership. We also offer ongoing service for your equipment to keep them working efficiently.
Due to their simplicity compared to a traditional DC motor, Hyster has transitioned to the AC pump motors and traction. When used in a regular working environment, the AC motor's periodic maintenance intervals can be up to 500 hours. There is no sparking, maintenance or arching, and no need to service brush rigging, brushes or motor commutators. Also, these motors develop lower temperatures overall when compared to DC motors which give equal output. Hyster AC traction and pump motors offer better thermal performance, speed capabilities, continued reliability and more torque.
The top of the industry masts, Hyster's vista masts are made of solid steel cast cross members. Additionally, they are designed with a big window for greater visibility. They feature the nested channel design and have full-face straight load rollers which are canted at three degrees. Furthermore, brass side thrust plugs allow the operator to easily make adjustments to the mast during maintenance without having to disassemble or remove the mast. The Vista mast is designed and built by Hyster to precise specs.
Hyster forklifts feature the industry's most reliable steer axle in the business for hydrostatic steering. This steer axle requires little to no maintenance and has been built to be both reliable and durable. For added safety, the Operator Pre-Shift Checklist requires the operator to answer some questions to make certain that the unit has been checked prior to use. This feature is optional which means the lift can be programmed not to start if the checklist is not completed or if there is a problem that requires attention before lift operation.
