End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space required to operate these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machines are an excellent option for applications that require regular on and off access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading device utilized by a variety of businesses which maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need yet in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also include a hydraulic system that allows the operator to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just offers more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
