The telescopic lift truck would typically have a lengthened lift which uses a crane or arm to come over top of a truck. This particular style of forklift would allow you to lift loads higher and with greater control. This extra control is because of the fact that you are moving the load on the crane's end, that is called a telescopic boom.
The load could also move both away from and towards the forklift cab as well and this unique feature is something that regular forklifts are unable to do. The telescopic forklifts can offer both height and versatility. The telescopic lift truck is super popular in the agricultural and construction businesses. Moreover, they are an excellent choice in circumstances where you might have to work with something that needs more control that a regular lift truck.
Frame Tilt
The frame tilt is a particular feature which is common to telehandlers. The operator can activate controls to change the lateral or side to side angle of the frame. This particular frame can be moved 10 to 15 degrees in either direction from horizontal. There is a tube filled with liquid which is curved and mounted in the cab. This is the level indicator or frame tilt indicator and works like a carpenter's level. It has a bubble indicator that indicates the lateral angle of the frame relative to the ground. This is an extremely handy device which is used to ensure the frame is level before elevating the boom in rough setting.
Steering
There are some units of telehandlers that provide rear wheel steering, like a vertical mast type unit. Most models offer 3 steering options that the operator may choose; crab, circle and front steering. For instance, if the operator selects the "front" steering option, just the front wheels of the machine would react to the steering wheel's movement.
