Industrial Cleaning Machine New Mexico

Used Industrial Cleaning Machine New Mexico - Commercial floor scrubbers provide an efficient, cost-effective and fast way to clean floor surfaces and are used for regular maintenance. Did you know that according to surveys, roughly ninety percent of the maintenance for flooring expenses is related to labor? Large areas can be cleaned thoroughly and with less staff when commercial floor scrubbers are utilized. Commercial floor scrubbers are available in several automated types. More recently, advancements in technology have brought about robotic versions of commercial floor scrubbers. These machines offer an automated system for evenly dispersing the cleaning compound at regular intervals. Some automatic floor scrubbing models within a vacuum system may be fitted at the rear of the machine with a squeegee attachment behind the suction nozzle. These units also have separate dispensing and collection or recovery tanks. The cleaning mixture is held in the dispersing tank while the collection tank is home to the material gathered by the vacuum and the liquids accumulated there. Having separation between dirty water and clean water creates a more sanitary cleaning option. The automatic scrubber operates by first dispensing the cleaning compound from the dispensing tank, then using the scrubbing system, to push the cleaning compound into the floor surface and loosen dirt, stains and marks which are then quickly suctioned into the machine’s collection tank as the unit makes its pass over an area. Automatic Floor Scrubber Head Types Automatic floor scrubbers are available in three common types of floor scrubber heads: 1. Rotary, sometimes referred to as disk; 2. Cylindrical; and 3. Square oscillating. Rotary or Disk Floor Scrubber Head The rotary or disk model of floor scrubber head is the most common type. They operate in a circular motion with one or two round brushes or pads that push a cleaning solution into the floor. Cylindrical Floor Scrubber Head Rotating at a 90-degree angle to the floor, the cylindrical floor scrubber model features counter-rotating tube designed brushes to facilitate cleaning. This style of brushes facilitates better cleaning for irregular or uneven surfaces. The cylindrical floor scrubbing machines often have a collection tray found behind the scrubber head to enable easier pickup of small items such as pebbles or nails. Different brush styles make it easy to clean a wide variety of floor surfaces. Different brush styles make cleaning easier. Rubber, synthetic floors and textured tile surfaces respond well to soft bristles and concrete or grouted tile surfaces rely on harder brushes. Square Oscillating Floor Scrubber Head The square oscillating floor scrubber features a flat pad that scrubs the floor at high speed. Corners and walls can be cleaned more efficiently thanks to the square head design. Square scrubbing heads can be used with a specific stripping pad to take the floor finish away. Vinyl tile flooring can also benefit from being cleaned with square oscillating pads. Due to the high-speed oscillation, the square pads deliver more agitation and floor cleaning power. They do very well when cleaning grouted tile. Floor Scrubber Categories Floor Scrubber Categories Walk-Behind Floor Scrubbers The walk-behind floor scrubber units have a forward assist feature that softly propels the machine forward when the operator enables this item. The forward assist helps curb fatigue of the operator which allows the operator to continue for a longer period of time, reducing fatigue and greatly increasing efficiency when compared to traditional manual methods. Stand-On Floor Scrubbers The stand-on floor scrubber models provide better efficiency for larger spaces compared to walk-behind models and these units are more cost-efficient compared to a rider floor scrubber. These machines are also typically smaller than a rider machine so can fit into areas a rider floor scrubber could not and have increased maneuverability. Stand-on units provide the operator with a better view compared to rider models and walk-behind machines. Rider Floor Scrubbers The rider units allow the operator to be seated while the machine is in operation. These machines clean in a similar manner and reduce operator fatigue due to their comfortable seating. This design facilitates up to sixty-five percent more efficiency in comparison to the walk-behind models and allows large areas of the floor to be covered more efficiently. Robotic Floor Scrubbers Technological design advancements within the field of autonomous robotics have helped to create a new army of floor-scrubbing machines. These units were born by joining self-control robotic features with automatic floor scrubbing options. Commercial floor scrubbers are commonly found in manufacturing facilities, healthcare, retail and education centers. Certain robotic commercial units are capable of cleaning an area up to ten thousand square feet in one hour. With continuous development in robotic technology, the advancement of robotic floor scrubbers will intensify over the years. Improved computing technology and better sensors are some of the noted areas expected to become even more efficient. Mobile robotic sensors enable today’s floor scrubbers to complete a wider detection range around objects and walls. This will enable the unit to be precise when determining its particular location in large locations including airports, convention centers and shopping malls. Early models of residential cleaning robots followed a random pattern when cleaning. Nowadays, commercial robotic floor scrubbers can execute an accurate map for cleaning. Newer floor scrubbing models operate in a predictable pattern to cover the floor as efficiently as possible. Very few locations (if any) on the floor are missed due to this advanced technology that communicates exactly where the machine has already cleaned and which areas are still outstanding. These machines are capable of safely navigating around obstacles or people while they operate autonomously. Additional Floor Scrubber Options and Considerations Hard to Reach Areas It is difficult for floor scrubbing machines to reach certain corners, edges or around water fountains or similar fixtures. Typically, these locations would need to be cleaned with a mop and bucket if they could not accommodate the machine. However, some manufacturers now produce floor scrubbers with oscillating brush decks which allow the scrubber to reach these difficult areas. Pre-Sweeping and Vacuum System Maintenance Newer floor scrubbers usually include an option that allows for a pre-sweep prior to the wet scrub. This feature allows for removal of debris before scrubbing without the need for a traditional broom or dry mop. Loose items and dust are collected by the pre-sweep brush head and placed into the collection chamber located in front of the vacuums system. Blockages to the vacuum hose or motor are avoided with this pre-sweep brush head and collection design. Previously, the cleaning crew was required to dry mop or sweep the location before employing the floor scrubber to collect any dust and debris that might harm the machine. In the event a blockage occurs, the vacuum hose may need to be removed and cleaned. In some cases, the vacuum motor might need to be blown out using compressed air. Environmental Options Some models of floor scrubbers have been designed with environmentally friendly options in mind. Safe soaps and water-saving systems work to save on both the number of chemicals used as well as the amount of greywater produced. Some floor scrubbers are even able to clean without water and chemicals at all. Solution Dispensing System Maintenance and Considerations Stripping solutions cannot be used with most floor scrubbing models as they can damage the solution dispensing system. Stripping solutions can be safely vacuumed up by the machine without causing damage. It is wise to flush the solution system periodically with a mix of vinegar and water to remove any calcium and soap deposits that may accumulate over time. Industrial Cleaning Machine PDF
